Subject: [CR]Correct Saddle for 1974 Holdsworth Prof.?

I have recently restored a 1974 Holdsworth Professional. The bike basically sat unused in a shop and then in a garage for 28 years. It had some minor issues with pitting, dust, and a couple small scratches. With a little TLC and some Flitz (Which I got from the guys at American Cyclery in SF, CA - What a great product!) it is almost like new. It now looks like that one bike that has sat unsold for 5-10 years in the local shop! When I bought the bike I was told it was all original (and that appears to be case, freewheel, cables, and housing excepted. Only the saddle needs attention at this point). The saddle that came with the bike is a Fujita Seamless Super YFC. It is the only part that is in bad shape and Flitz can't fix it! In looking on the CR web site in the Holdsworth section it is hard to tell what saddle was used on the team and/or pro bikes. The photo of Dale's bike shows a Brooks but I cannot distinguish the make of the saddle in any of the other photos other than to say they don't look like a Brooks product - but I could be wrong. Assuming this was originally shipped as a complete bike, what was the saddle that came with the bike? And does anyone have a NOS or take-off they would be willing to sell? I'm inclined to just put a nice NOS Brooks on it and call it a day but wanted to ask the experts. Thanks, Dan Tedford SF, CA

PS I know this is not an OLD old bike, but its not a twizzler or a corkscrew either! :-)
