If the Record and Nuovo Record cups were the same as you assert, then:

1) Why different part numbers, and 2) What was "Nuovo" about the Nuovo Record BB?

(Hint: It was the rifling in the cups!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

The art on page 32 clearly shows the cups as different. Look at the inner diameters of both types. The Nuovo Record /A cups have the rifling, and the Record cups don't. It's very simple. We're not talking quantum physics here! Do you have an actual catalog, or a reprint? Maybe a poor reprint wouldn't show it.
