WILLIAMS C1000 CRANKSET, 165mm cranks in excellent condition. The Williams C1000 chainset features very slender cranks and was practically the standard chainset for top quality British lightweight bikes from the 1930s until the late 50s. Few clubmen at the time went for Chater-Lea as they were quite a bit more expensive. This crankset has practically no pitting. Suitable rings can be supplied at extra cost to the buyer. $45

BSA DBLE FLUTED 6 3/4in CRANKS/CHAINSET Offered for sale is a BSA chainset with 6 3/4in double fluted cranks and a 22T 1in pitch BSA chainring (equivalent to 44T 1/2in pitch) and a 44T 1/2in pitch chainring. In their time these BSA double fluted cranks were some of the best of their time and were considered superior to Chater-Lea and were used by almost all the top track riders both in Britain and on the continent. The chrome plating on the arms is pitted lightly in places. The 1in pitch chainringĀ¹s teeth show just a little light wear; the teeth on the 1/2in pitch chainring are more worn but still perfectly useable. These cranks are very rarely seen in 6 3/4in length. $95

PHILLIPS PHILIDYNE DYNAMO SET NOS This is absolutely stunning and probably dates from the 1940s. It is in virtually perfect condition and comes complete with all the brackets and wiring. $75

WEINMANN SHORTY GUARDS Very good condition $25

STRONGLIGHT 3-ARM CHAINSET 1950s Excellent Stronglight steel chainset with 170mm cranks and 50/47T chainrings dating probably from the 1950s. The cranks have been very nicely rechromed. The chainrings are in very good condition with just a very small amount of pitting on the inner ring - the teeth are excellent on both rings. $95

FRENCH SOLID CENTRE RATRAP PEDALS These I think are French made rat trap pedals with solid aluminium centres and chrome plated steel plates - they are not Atom I think and are earlier in style. They are in excellent condition with very few marks and the bearings feel perfect. They are French threaded. $40

CYCLO SPORT REAR DERAILLEUR FRENCH NOS in excellent condition complete with lever and remains of the original box. It is designed for a 3-speed 1/8in freewheel. $65

STRATA AERTS BARS - ideal match for above excellent condition and one of the less common Strata shapes. $65 or $100 for bars and stem together

CHRISTOPHE TOECLIPS EARLIER STYLE LOGO in very good pair condition and medium size. There are one or two small spots of pitting and the chrome under the shoe area is slightly worn. $15

SUPER CHAMPION GRAND TOUR REAR GEAR NOS - French made NOS Super Champion Grand Tour gear from the 1938-40 period. This gear can be fitted to the chainstay of any lightweight/touring bike of the period and is apparently suitable for both 3-speed 1/8in freewheels and 4-speed 3/32in freewheels. It is missing its tensioning spring but a suitable replacement will be supplied. $80

BIRMALUX 27 x 1 1/4in Rims 1970s NOS 36H from the 1970s. These are identical in section to Weinmann Alesa 210 rims complete with spoke dimples but are stamped made in England, have perfect Birmalux transfers and a have a very lightly knurled braking surface. Perfect for that 70s British bike. $65

GB SPEARPOINT ALLOY STEM for C/P BRAKES - very good 8cm stem from the 1960s. There are a few small marks on the quill and it does have the normal insertion marks. Unusually it is drilled for a centre-pull brake cable - this was a factory option. $45
