http://www.techspray.com/3200info.htm is a website that lists the chemical makeup and marketing hype for Proshield, an LPS-3 Spray. I spent two years in the Marshall Islands, on Kwajalein Island, and I can't imagine a more harsh environment for corrosion. We would say that we watched our bicycles rust for entertainment. For our missile range equipment, we used LPS-3 to coat unpainted surfaces, like gears, that were exposed to the elements. I don't recall anyone on the island advocating coating the insides of frames back then (early 80s). I think Frame Saver is a better preservative for bike frames, but I don't think LPS-3 can be totally discounted as a relatively cheap rust inhibitor. Lou Deeter, Orlando FL
