Bob,

Great piece of information. I'm always amazed at how long ago the technology that we all know and love as those things that either originated with the bicycle or apply to it were developed and/or first used. Having only a little experience with "really old bikes" I'm still humored when someone is spouting off about this new design or innovation in the industry, when in fact a large percentage of them are over 100 years old. Thanks for putting some air in this one. For a while I was afraid we had lost you.
