Except that Herse brakes require different braze-ons from the Mafacs currently on the bike... I have only seen Mafac cantis on an Herse bike (a 1957 tandem, to be specific) that were "redone" by different craftspeople, like Singer. But of course, if somebody ordered them, I am sure Herse would have made the bike for them.
