Kevin,
Durifort tubing was made by the same manufacturer of Vitus (Atelier de le Rive) I think thats how its spelled. Durifort was a seemed high carbon steel, Vitus was chrome-moly , Super Vitus was chrome -moly- vanadium 16 mcdv 6 similar to Dedacciai. Of the three R, C+ V the finish of Reynolds and dimensional consistency and tube straightness was top than Columbus and than Vitus but as far as tube strength, Super Vitus was superior. That's why I believe once Atelier stopped making steel Dedacciai started to use their technology.
