Hi Tom, I hope I'm answering what your asking. I have a 1965 vintage "Ventose, fabrication ad-hoc" alloy pump. Its the kind that you have to remove the hose from one end and screw it in the other end before you use it. Unlike some of the cheapo imitations from the 70s/80s, it is presta. My rough measurement, slightly compressed spring, is 12 1/2". I have seen ones like it available on eBay, but they are pretty pricey, considering that they are more show than go. <wink> Also, the original Silca pump metal head had a small indent on its end to fit a pump peg. Maybe some of the other listees can find one that they had replaced with the Campy head???

Good Luck,
