Listmembers,

I sometimes worry that what I write is too direct and contains too much "attitude". I was especially unsure about what kind of responce would result from my last post. Once done I contemplated what I was about to send into the ethers to be recorded for all time. I always do my best to be straight and true and to not intentionally offend anyone. By some miracle this post recieved nothing but thank yous and compliments. How is this possible? Someone bitchslap me back to reality. (I can think of a few who would be more than willing to do so.)

I hope it is not a violation of policy for me to say that I appreciate the listmembers who took the time to personally reward me with their comments. Proof again that we all have different tastes and yet we all have one common interest, vintage bikes. The more we know and understand about these things the better we all are. Like Dale said, everyones opinion counts and is valid. But some things require deeper study to fully appreciate (or not) and that is why we share information and experiences with one another. Again it is my pleasure to be part of this unique group of people who are so full of knowledge and are so willing to allow someone such as myself to spout off.

Thank you all for being so kind. I am truely stunned by the reaction!
