He was a pretty well known/regarded builder, in I think London. I'll have to

Seems he was active in the post war period and the 50s. Other than that, I
don't know much, but there is at least one list member in England who has one
and knows of a couple more. The frame did not come as described. The gleaming
paint hasn't dried yet, and the brush touch up ran all over the crest decals.
The lettering shows heavy touch up. Instead of being able to put together a
nice old bike with patina, this thing needs a complete redo to not be
embarrassing.
