don't forget about that track bike that Panasonic tricked out! They got the weight down to 10 1/2 pounds, as reported in Bicycling back in the mid 70's (scanned article is available upon request). This was without any magic metal, except for that "drillium" stuff. No reports of any Northstein-ish guys riding the bike, tho.
