I'm still on my 1974 Raleigh Team Pro kick and was spending more time examining the brochure page which Mark had posted. Besides the unusual black chainrings and headset, notice the following oddities also:

The first little picture on the top shows the rear dropout having a fender eyelet which I would like to assume a Team bike never had, but also note that the bike pictured does not appear to have the eyelet - two different bikes used for the pictures?

The third little picture shows the Campagnolo front derailleur with silver arms and black cage while the one on the bike that is pictured appears to be a standard NR (or is that just a Record?) front mechanism in all silver.

Just some observations.

Did anyone on this list ever own (or currently own) a Team Pro with the fastback stays? If so, Please contact me offlist.

Also, does anyone on the list own a 1973/74 Pro or Team Pro with the serial number begining with an "A". Again, please contact me off list if you have such a girl.

Thanks,

Eric Elman Somers, CT
