My brother bought a Mk.I "White" Raliegh pro in mid 1969. This was a nice looking bike, classic road design. It did not have limited edition decals. It also came with Weinnman and not Campanolo brakes. Seat stays were on the side not fast back. I don't think it had chrome on the frame or fork. I tried to get one of the same models several months later and they were sold out, so I waited for the new Mk. II. I remember getting it in 1970, but the retro Raliegh date list shows the one I have on eBay as a 1971. I don't think this is correct as the hubs were dated 68 and 69, and the crankset and rear derailleur have no dates. 1971 parts would have had the 71 date. As these parts were expensive I doubt that they would keep them around too long.

If Jim Merz's Raliegh Pro is a Mk II, limited edition of 500, what is the story on the earlier "white" pro which I thought was also built in a limited edition of 500? Is that a Mk 1?
