There were many similarities between the leading character and myself. Not only did our names sound the same, but I believe the actors first name was also Dennis. We both were about the same age, had bleached blond hair, and more importantly - both rode Masi's. One major difference is that I did not and still do not true wheels like he did! I remember that all of us mechanics went to see the movie together with our dates. We all just about fell out of our seats when he cranked down on that spoke wrench! Kind on like the reaction you get when you hear finger nails scraping on a chalk board. If you have never seen Breaking Away, go rent/borrow/download and check it out.

Dennis Stover
Arleta, CA.
Still way to hot to go for a ride.
