Dear list:
I asked a simple 1" pitch chain tool question about the VAR #303 tool. No one responded, well one bmxer did and reminded me that bmx chain is often the same 3/16" and thus we were able to find the Park CT-7 chain tool specifically made for said chain dimension. I thought I would relay this finding to the list. However I have yet to find any older trusty tool for skip link chain. Any takers? Beats the same old rehash of transcribing from the campagnolo catalogs. Perhaps some other queries could be explored and we can all benefit. Lets stray occasionally from the Campag timeline as interesting as it is. Does anyone with a table vise and a set of old tools car to answer my chain query? Perhaps the info resides elsewhere in the quicksand of the net. Hozan? Wright? Var? Sugino? Etc...
