I was thinking of posing the question whether there are any issues with using a second chainring on a Campagnolo BMX crank. I happen to have a blue ano one like the Stella. It seems to me that it isn't that different from mounting a third chainring where there is no support apart from the the bolts.

What is the concern here: the possibility of shearing bolts or eccentric mounting?
