There's very little talk of classic tandems on the list, but I know a
bunch of you have them. I have an unclassic '91 Burley Rock-n-Roll
that I'm building up from parts and the further I get into it the
more I know we want a classic styled tandem. When I'm done with the
Burley I'm going to sell it and use the money for something more
classic. My questions are what are some good classic (pre-70s would
be nice) tandems for mellow weekend tandemers of the smaller size,
54cm and 48cm, and what would I be looking at in price? I had a
mid-30s Barre (another obscure French builder) and miss it very much.
I keep seeing a lot of British tandems on ebay and they seem very
racey and pricey. We're looking for something interesting and fun.
