My most challenging ride was on that used Simoncini I got cheap and built up with an almost all MAVIC groupo. I put an aero bar on it and did a few short shakedown rides on it to get it right, then took it on the Lancaster Bike Club's Covered Bridge Metric Century...
Talk about challenging, that bike was positively scary above 25 mph in the aero position. Standing up on it took muscle to keep that baby riding straight and if you just stood up to give your butt a break you had to brace a thigh against the saddle to keep it from oscillating on its own.
Nuts! I guess I'm never going to sell that frame to anyone in this group! 8o)
Dan Artley, riding straight and true with that complete MAVIC groupo on a Cinelli Centurion beater purchased from Sterling Peters (thanks Peter) in Parkton Maryland
That Simoncini would be a really good price if you'd like to put in a bid, how about the cost of packing and shipping? ;^)
