from the 70s i have a basement full of stretched (many on rims) silk and cotton tubulars, both ridden and never-ridden. i have never applied any preservatives (like liquid latex/"Tire Life" type products) and wonder what the groups' experience is with aged tubulars. can they just be glued, pumped and ridden or...??? someone want to enlighten me as i continue the restoration of my Bottecchia Pro?
