There is one part of Jobst's analysis that is very flawed. Campy says to set them up dry and that is where the chainline is correct. If you grease them, they slide up further on the taper.

So I often grease or not depending on what I want to do in terms of fine chainline adjustment.

Also what is this business about the covers holding the bolt in? Jeesh. Sufficently torqued bolts just don't loosen up.
