I just returned from watching the former "Tour de Toona" or now known as the International. Great crits today in the blustery heat!! I thought it curious to note that a member of Team Columbia was riding a benotto steel lugged frame in the Pro 1 race, he finished with the pack which considering the heat, the previous days mountain stages and distances, and the pace of the crit, finishing is an accomplishment amongst itself. It seems they tossed this together as a spare bike to bring just in case, and somehow, it was needed. just thought I would mention it.
