Fellow Listers,
This question is directed to those frame builders with both Ti and steel experience. I have a couple of steel frames created by a master frame builder. Fit is perfect, build quality outstanding. I also have a couple of custom sized Ti frames which fit perfectly. My question is why do the Ti frames glide so effortlessly. The perceived effort to obtain and maintain speed is substantially less. I've been analyzing this for 4 years. Without fail the Ti frames are faster. Help.
