I think the Italian Simplex factory, Aliprandi S.A. - Milano, was a pretty short lived thing. I'm guessing from 1950 to 1965 or so.

I think the same thing was true of Campagnolo's factory in Cognin, France. Very short lived and implemented for some export loophole. Same with F.B. factory in Cognin, France.

Anyone know where Cognin, France is? I did a very preliminary websearch and didn't find out much.
