Dale Brown told me last week that the bridge fender mounts were merely water bottle bosses brazed to the bridges and were not inducators of vintage just another option. I thought these were cast bridges with ehis an integral part??? In any case they would not likely be present on a close coupled frame without fender clearance so they are uncommon today on a racing machine. Brian in Berkeley
