My first contribution to the list:
I am a collector of 1980's vintage road bikes (and have read the list for some time, but never written). In the last year I collected a 57 CM Tesch 101, never built (15+/- years old still in the box) which had a campy chorus grouppo with it ( also still in the boxes), I have since built it up, and ridden it on sunny days.
I rember Tesch's from when I was living and riding in Long Beach California in the early and mid 80's' but could never afford one. My questions are what tube set is the 101 made from, and how many 101's were built. Could I be the only guy with a perfect original? If so what is it worth? I have a number of other vintage road bikes (Ron Cooper, Andy Gilmour, and a late 80's Richard Sachs).
