All of which is written in wondering why it hasn't drawn attention and as an attempt to draw attention to it.

Cheers. Tom

WOW Tom! That is a beautiful set! I have been waiting a long time for a chromed Paramount in my size (and sadly...this isn't the one). When I was fresh out of high school in 1984, I somehow bought what was said to be a 1969 nickel plated Paramount, with "pencil tubing" stays. The drive side rear drop had allegedly been repaired by Michigan based Assenmacher. The lower portion of the drop looked like it was once broken off and had been welded back on. I managed to torque the drop wide open during some incident with the rear derailleur (can't remember exactly what happened). Cunning little rats that my friends and I were, we bent the drop back close to "normal", and I sold the bike off. Years later, I seem to be like many of you out there, and wish that I had held on to the thing I loved. If anyone has access to a similar frameset with 52cm ctc sizing, I would be very interested ... even if it has a weld repair with stress cracks on the rear drop!!!

Best regards,
