I've never yet done it myself. I was considering some fine pieces being offered by Alexander von Tutschek over there in Bath just these past weeks and those were the numbers he offered me, except checking his e-mail I made a mistake and I offer my apologies: those #s are in £s, not $s, and to quote his e-email,
"Postage will not exceed GBP100 and may be less, you'll pay exactly what the stamps add up to...it won't be under GBP85."
At yesterday's 1.53, this is $130 - $153.
Sounds like Alex should use David's shippers.
