Hello all, A) I have tire savers on what I believe to be a late 1970s Torpado. They look kinda like black 14 or 16G electrical wire, but seemingly professionally bent, covered on the sides with a clear tubing like fish tank air line. The tubing is about 1/4" o.d., but is kinda thick...enough to fit snugly on the two sides of the wire. It looks like the intent is to have the curved front edge of the wire scrape the tread of the tire, and the tubes on the sides to hit the sidewalls. This one is also mounted under the brake caliper. B) The aforementioned Torpado has a single bolt style seat post that I cannot identify. It has what appear to be lower case initials on the back side, with a 26.8 size marking on the drive side, and BREV. on the front side...all at the top of the shaft. I will now attempt to duplicate the initials, in the classic style of Seurat, the painter: * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

Well, perhaps I should simply have taken a pic of it, but the camera I use is not currently available. Sorry for the poor craft work! If any of you know this post, please let me know of it's maker, or anything else relevant about it. Thanks very much!
