The correct name and spelling is indeed guidonnet. For those who did not know already, 'guidon' is the French word for handlebars. so 'guidonnet' would be the adjective created to mean fitting the handlebars. You can see a better view of the levers at: http://www.sheldonbrown.org/rochet/pages/rochet04.html Given that this is now resolved, the next question is what do you call the model of brake lever that fits into the end of the handlebars. In my eyes, they are absolutely beautiful brake levers, unlike the guidonnet ones.
