I believe these were made for Schwinn. I know I used the 12 gauge (I think), spokes from the Paramount tandem for my around the world touring bike. I had to drill the hubs to allow the spokes to fit. I seem to remember that Schwinn had those curved levers before CPSC. As you can see the cone shaped nuts are not CPSC.

Another item for sale on Ebay that shows a Campagnolo product that is new to me. Has anybody ever seen Campagnolo hubs that were drilled like these? What about skewers that were curved like these? Is this a case of somebody who wanted drillium hubs? Perhaps their own CPSA approved skewers? Any comments?
