I got an amazing deal earlier this year. While perusing the junk at the local Goodwill store, I spied an early 70's Carabela, which is one of the Windsor bikes built in Mexico. It was the Suntour barend shifters that caught my eye. I love those things. Unfortunately, the frame, in all its glory with chromed stay and fork ends, as well as head lugs, was a 25 incher. Way too big for a guy of my stature. But still, for five dollars, how could I go wrong.
After cleaning up the frame, I ended up selling the whole package (now disassembled) for $150!!! Good investment I'd say. It ended up in the home of a tall man, where it can really be appreciated.
