Group--- Considering the collection that Carsten has put together, and the amount of knoweledge that he seems to have, I would personally tread extremely lightly on any criticism of his ebay listing. If indeed it is erroneous, I am quite sure that this would not be a deliberate sales ploy on Carsten's behalf............. Cheers-- Nelson Miller-- Seattle

Takao- Thanks for getting back to me. The only thing I can say is that I must be the one who is mistaken. Someone else mentioned that the book, "The Custom Bicycle" gives a date of when Sante would turn over the reigns to Rossin. If anybody has that book, I would like to see exactly what it said. Hello Dave,
The interview was on a Japanese book " The bicyccle workshops in Italy". My memory was not correct. It was published in 1994. The interview seems to have been done in early 1990s. For it told he was near 80 years old and he was born in 1913.
I don't know whether the author, Yuzuru Sunada,is very reliable or not, but I cannot think the interview was totally a fake.
According to the book, Pogliaghi was sold to Rossin in 1983 and to Basso in 1989.

\r?\n> Takao-

\r?\n> Many years ago I recall reading a "Bicycling" magazine article stating that

\r?\n> he died in February 1981. With all due respect, I believe one of us is

\r?\n> wrong.
