Jocelyn repaired my first real racing bike, a Benotto 3000 that had been hit by a car. He replaced the seat tube and realigned the frame, and painted it all gloss black. I used to see him at the races and he'd say hi. A really tough racer.

Last year I had a month long email conversation with Jocelyn (and this is him typing with a mouthstick!), after he'd been dredging the 'net for his name to see if anyone still remembered him and came across a post I'd made 2 years earlier when someone asked about Cambio Rino parts.

Anyway, I got around to asking him about his frames and how many he'd built, and maybe if he had any old ones or knew of anyone with one to sell. Turns out he only made 110 frames in 1981 and 1982. After the accident he sold his frame building stuff to Mike Mulholland (Cyclops).

There were a lot of Velosport Lovell's around. They looked a lot like his original frames (same decal style etc) but they were pretty cheap.
