Recall, however, that the reflector law only applies to Production bikes. Custom bikes built from a bare frameset did/do not have this requirement IIRC.

Therefore, my homebuilt bike and others built from framesets are compliant without reflectors, but all of those later Raleigh Pros and Schwinn Paramounts, etc. probably have their reflectors prominently displayed, right?
