I heard about this bike which unfortunately is not in my size. I am not connected with the seller and am only posting what he told me.
FOR SALE: 1965 Legnano, size 55 cm. It is in almost all original condition, with less than 2000k usage. Purchased in late sixties or early 70's in California, but has been mostly in Australia after that.
It includes the original chain, brake pads, 3ttt stem and bars, Campy Nuovo Record components and Brooks saddle. The owner noted that the Legnano decals are worn or missing on the down tube, the rims have been changed to Mavic clinchers (though the original Fiamme tubular rims are included) and the handlebar tape was covered with new tape (although the original tape was not removed.) He believes it was a team bike. The owner faxed me a copy of his Legnano catalog which suggests that this is a model Roma Olimpiade. The owner is 71 years old and cannot ride the Legnano anymore.
