While cursing my bad luck at breaking the pin on my *@##%%$@ Rohloff chain tool (this is an $80 tool that is impressively made, but save your money) I visited the mailbox and discovered that a new publication, the Vintage Bicycle Quarterly, had arrived.
WOWOWOW. It is a first class piece of work. Beautifully written and finished, the VBC takes up where "on the wheel" left off. Very impressive. This first issue could be called the "Alex Singer Commemorative".
Kudos to Jan for putting this together - a fabulous read, absolutely first rate. Order yours today if you've not seen it - you won't be disappointed. I forgot all about the wreckage of that Rohloff tool... The pin folded over like it was made of pot metal.
