Dale told me about this stuff a couple of years ago. I get it from Lowes or Home Depot, where it is sold as a carpet adhesive. Dale told me to dilute it quite a bit and use it to help preserve cracking tire rubber and maybe even gum rubber hoods. I didn't find it worked well on gum runner hoods, but cannot find the mysterious "white petrolatum" refered to on the List some months ago. Never tried brake fluid.

By the way, I'm supporting the first annual Duke Ironman this weekend, and wonder what I'll see in the way of classic bikes. Probably nothing ?
