Latest list of frames, parts and books for sale to CR members before they go to Ebay. Some items have already been to Ebay - they are now offered to CR members at a considerable saving. The books are part of a collection I have just purchased - there are some very rare titles included. All items are priced in $. Shipping will be extra charged at cost. Enquire for actual cost if you like before deciding. Photographs are available of most items and can be emailed if required. ALE CHROME WIRE HANDLEBAR BOTTLE CAGE NOS Practically perfect chrome plated wire handlebar bottle cage with spring loaded fastening complete with all three clips. $45

CINELLI ALUMINIUM TOECLIPS 1980s NOS NIP which judging from the black anodised decoration must date from the 1980s. $15

REYNOLDS MAES BARS in generally very good condition. They just have a few light marks from where the brake levers have been mounted. They are 37.5cm ctc wide and a more rounded shape than most Maes shape bars being closer to a Pellissier bar in shape. $40

TITAN MAES BARS 1957 a very good pair dated 1957 they have a couple of small marks on the back and underside of the ferrule. They are 38cm wide. $40

STARLIGHT FRONT LIGHT NOS NIB practically perfect NOS NIB unused front battery light which is ideal for use with most 50s, 60s or 70s bike. I am not certain what type of battery this light used and whether it is still available. $12

GB SPEARPOINT STEM an excellent 8cm stem from the 1950s. There are no marks on the extension and only very faint marks on the quill. $40

ANDRE BERTIN FRAME c.1956 Offered for sale is a 56m (C-t-T) Andre Bertin frame from the late 1950s. It is essentially in very good condition but has been crudely repainted. It comes complete with a correct French threaded headset. On the bottom bracket it has a double roller for either Simplex or Huret gears. The price is a reasonable $65 which reflects the need for a repaint - this can be arranged in England for the successful buyer.

BOOKS WATCHING THE WHEELS GO AROUND - BARRY HOBAN AN autobiography 258pp with large photo section. Barry Hoban probably ranks second or tyhirtd amongst the all time greats of British cycling; he won eight stages of the TDF and knew To mSimpson very well, later going onto marry Tom¹s widow. This is a lovely autiobiograhy that lets you into the continental pro racing of the 60s and 70s. Excellent condition $35

ROAD TO SPEED by Lon Pullen and Len Thorpe 123pp This is a wonderful book published about 1957 which has photographs and details the riding positions of many top British riders - time triallists and trackies. See how the bikes of the 50s were actually ridden.It is a very rare little book but this copy has a detached cover and some staining to the end papers hence only $35

THE COMPLETE CYCLIST by R J Way 119pp published c1950 A fascinating little book with many line drawings of components etc from the period such asAlp brakes, Gnuttti cotterless chainset, Osgear etc with lots of useful tips Very good condition with dustjacket $25

THE BERNARD HINAULT STORY by Pierre Martin 87pp The story of Hinault¹s carreer to 1984. Excellent with many mono and colour photos $30

KINGS OF THE ROAD by Robin Magowan and Graham Watson 208pp publioshed 1988 Outline the careers of most top riders from the 70s and 80s and outlines the major continental pro races. A real classic of a book. Perfect condition. Softback $30

THE ROAD TO HELL Graham Watson 127pp 1992 Details in pictures and words all the Classic pro races. Perfect condition A wonderful book. $30

PERSONAL BEST The autiobiography of Beryl Burton 182pp 1986 Probably the greatest women cyclist to date (but watch out for Nicole Cooke!) with many world championships to her credit. A great read with a section of photographs. Crumpled back end papers but otherwise very good condition Excellent dustjacket $35

MY WORLD ON WHEELS - the posthumous autobiography of Russell Mockridge. 235pp 1959 The story of one of Australia¹s greatest cyclists who was killed in a road race in 1958. It is one of the very best cycling autbiographies, a truly fascinating read. Excellent condition save for a tatty dustjacket. This is a very rare book. $55

TWO WHEELS TO THE TOP - THE AUTIOBIOGRAPHY OF REG HARRIS 218pp 1976 Plenty of photos and a great account of what it takes to rise to the top like Reg did in the world of track sprinting. $35

REG HARRIS by George Pearson 88pp 1950 An early biography of Reg Harris detaing Reg¹s early carreer. A rare little book Softback but not very good binding hence $30

EVERY CYCLIST²S HADBOOK by F J Camm 200pp 1936Wonderfully illustrated with lots of line drawings of all the top kit of the time. Excellent read. $35

CYCLING CRAZY by Chas Messenger 173pp 1970 An account by a former British team manager of the many British riders he had managed together with many of the continental pros he met in the 1960s. A great book. Excellent dust jacket but ex library copy hence $25

WHERE THERE²S A WHEEL by Chas Messenger 215pp 1972 Includes a potter history of the BLRC then describes the Tour of Britain from 1958 to 1964. Excellent detailed asccounts with photos. Excellent dust jacket $30

ALONG THE GREAT NORTH ROAD AND OTHER ROADS THE NORTH ROAD CYCLING CLUB 1885-1980 by A B Smith 191pp. 1981 autographed. Excellent account of one of the premier cycling clubs in Britain. $25
