I have had a reoccurring question about the availability of display stands for bikes for the Velo Rendezvous show on Sunday.

I can get very nicely made "track" stands for $12 each if anyone needs to buy some.

What they look like: They are black (powder coated) steel consisting of a removable base made of tubular steel and a rectangular steel vertical support with two black plastic hooks riveted to the support. The two hooks go under the left side chain stay and the seat stay and lift the rear wheel clear off the ground. The support is held to the base with a large screw with knob so no tools are required for assembly or disassembly.

I used the same track stands for displaying my bikes at last year's show (and sometimes for derailleur adjustment and chain cleaning duty).

If you need these, let me know off list how many you would like to buy and I will have them at the show.
