Hi,

Not sure what you mean by the back of the book. The dust jackets on my 1980 and and 1988 hardback editions of Sloane's "The--All New-- Complete Book of Cycling" both show a red Schwinn Paramount. Even though the publisher airbrushed over the the logo, you can still read a faint "Schwinn" on the down tube. This cover bike has a triple chainring, so I guess that it's a P-15 Deluxe Paramount, which in 1973 had a list price of $450. Strangely, my '73 catalogue shows the "Deluxe Paramount" with an optional triple chainring, but the "Deluxe Touring Paramount" with a double--What they call a "double plateau crank"! You would think that the triple would come on the touring bike.

Off like a flock of turtles,

What bike is on the back of his "Comlete Book of Bicycling?" Is it a Cinelli? Front looks like a standard Raleigh.

PS is the boblist down?
