jb detto pietro was a chain of bike shops in italy, and like all shops there, sold their own branded frames, along with the usual assortment of commercial stuff. the frames were nothing 'special'... just a house brand. when i used to visit milan, the detto shop near the albergo bolzano was a frequent stop. a cool selection of clothes and accessories, not normally imported to the states, could be found. the frames were very generic. 'often with the colored-chrome 'look', a 'la the early scapins of the 70s. i have no idea why they sported all the columbus dove logo engraving. often, the head tube logo was engraved 'dp'. e-RICARDO
