A local bike shop owner I visit, to paw through the inventory, has a bike that he wants me to put up on ebay for him.

It is a Willier Triestina, and looks by the components to be an 83-84. http://www.wilier.it/

I've never heard of this bike before. It looks to be chromed with a coppery brown mettalic paint over the chrome. There is a small dent on the top tube, and the paint is chipped and worn in places around the lugs. It is Campy SR equipped, with Campy bar end shifters. Stem, seatpost, and large chainring are pantographed. Once someone's pride and joy.

Does anyone remember these bikes? I am dragging my feet on it, mostly because I'm afraid he wants too much ($2,000) for it. Plus I need to get a little better business understanding with him. Of course with ebay, anything can happen. It is unique, but way above what I would spend, and too small for me (57cm C to T).
