So I've read the rants and raves about the Avocet computers, if one were able to acquire good working Avocet units and fit them to bikes, what years are appropriate for which models of computers? For that matter what of cyclometers (mechanical as well)? What was in use in what years (as are appropriate for the list)?

I too have found that I no longer bother with a computer on many of my bikes, and it's nice to have a 'clean' bike, but in the interests of 'period correct' I'm curious as to which, if any, cyclometers warrant placement on our fleets.

Cheers,
