Has anyone on the list heard of Amerio bikes? The item in question is probably from the mid 1940's and is a single-chainring, Cambio Corsa-equipped road bike. The bike was owned by an Argentine, the headbadge claims Italian manufacture, but it uses a number of French parts and to my eyes--with pretty limited knowledge of 40's road bikes--the frame looks as much French as Italian--think of Singer head lugs and an Emilio Bozzi seat lug.
