I got a Guerciotti today and have cracked it out of the box. I originally got it with the intentions of building it up and giving it to my girlfriend but she seems to be opting to stick firmly with her Giant Hybrid...which is Ok with me. The size is a 54.5 c-top tube. I first measured wrong and got pumped up...knowing it appeared too big for the girlfriend...I thought it may fit me but no luck.

This bicycle is 17 years old according to the individual who I got it from, this places it in the early to mid 80s. It came equipped at the time with the top record grouppo. The only thing on it at present is a newer record 1994 headset. It is maroon-like in color with yellow Guerciotti letters on the downtube, also a sticker with the various flags of nations. On the seat tube are two world colors stickers with Guerciotti with the G and the word Milano on it. It has dual water bottle bosses and chrome on both sides of the seatstays. Braze on hanger for the front derailleur. Very nice chrome crown fork with the G star on the tops of both fork blades. Campagnolo rear dropouts. CInelli is written on the BB along with the serial number 54F on one side and 22173 on the other. The BB lug has a small oval cutout also. The downtube headlug has the Star G cutout. The Top tube headlug with a small round cutout on the bottom. The seat lug has Guerciotti on both sides and a small round cutout on the front. The fork blades also have campy drops. The rear brake bridge also have two small round cutouts also. They are very attractive looking lugs. Their is slight remanants of a Columbus sticker. This was supposed to be a top frame at the time, any clues at to the tubing?? SL, SLX?? Any other info on this bicycle would be appreciated.
