Subject: [CR]Telavio - Pino Morroni

Thanks to all those who provided information about the Telavio and Pino Morroni. Special thanks to Dave Patrick and Russ Howe for not only providing info but great related stories as well (and the proper spelling of Morroni and his year of death - Dale take note!). The CR is made up of elitist Bozos making grade-school level comments? I beg to differ!!

I now have the Telavio in my possession, and it proves you can still stumble upon cool stuff in the right shops. In this case, the Pro Shop in Georgetown. It was the only place in town that had the Campy Italian threaded 111 BB that I needed, so I stopped by to pick it up, and there hanging with a couple nice Alans was the Telavio. CR helped me verify what Noel (my friend at the Pro Shop) had told me about the frame. And Noel also made a nice deal on the price. Voila! New acquisition.

The frame is very interesting, and I've posted some pictures at the link below. They're not great, and I'll get some better ones when I can get it out into the daylight, but they will do for now. Since I have an NOS set of Campy track hubs, I think I try and build it up that way. Now all I need is a crank, BB, HS, stem, bars, post, rims and so on and so forth............

Oh boy. Another project!
