Warning To The Rightsiders:

I have made the mental committment to attend the 2002 Cirque du Cyclisme. My primary purpose for attending this year will be for the purpose of meeting my English brethern up close and personal. There is preliminanary talk between Dale and myself regarding a possible minor presention in the form of a stand-up routine (a little framebuilder humor) or maybe a dog and pony show. We'll sort it out later.

Secondarily but none the less important, I want to bond with my fellow framebuilders regardless of origin; but particularly Richie, Peter, and Dale if possible. There's no way in hell I'm going to miss "buddy day" this year! It should also go without saying but I will say it anyway, I'm looking forward to meeting a lot of new people, actually ride while I'm there, and renewing friends I met last year like Wayne Bingham, Chris Beyer, Gilbert Anderson, Karen Rawles, Jeff Slotkin, and Lou Deeter to name only a fraction.

This decision will also help me focus on a goal of getting work done so I can take a few days off that are going to cost me money. Get ready for me to cough up some parts and stuff to raise money for the trip. And this time I mean it! Going to off a drumkit as well; now THAT'S drastic!

So you guys know the drill; bring in your cat, lock all windows and doors, lie on the floor motionless covering your head, and just wait for it to go away. If it smells bike parts it may stick around for a while so make sure to stash all of it safely away.
