Call ahead to the base to see what the threat condition is and if you will be allowed on board the base. It has been closed to cyclists since 9/11 but they will let you aboard with sponsor and prior authorization, otherwise you will be forced to ride on I-5. Email me off list and I can send you phone numbers for PMO and base public relations.
