Pete, Campagnolo made a complete Keirin racing group in the late '80s.
The differences from the standard Record Pista group were:
Seatpost- 2 bolt NR style
Hubs- 36h large flange only. Front hub axle had flats in the eds to fit into an 8mm fork end.
Bottom bracket- parts list specifies 1/4" balls, so this must be a steel cup BB, not aluminium.
Pedals- Record Keirin Ergonomic Pedal was constructed like the older Campag pedals, with a removeable endcap. The standard Record pedal of the time had a cartridge type spindle asembly which screwed into the pedal body from the crank side.
All these part would be stamped with the NJS mark to show that they were approved for Keirin racing. As far as I know, 2-bolt seat pillars are still mandatory for Japanese Keirin racing. A well as the widely lusted after Nitto Jaguar, Sugino still makes a Nuovo Record knock off for this purpose.
