couple finish questions
I have a bike with where the clear coat has chipped away on the headtube , suggestions on how to fix it ?
How can you tell if an aluminum part is clear anodized ?, I have some scuffed & scratched bits that I could polish. Will the presence of anodizing interfere with the polishing ?
How about a way to keep the cables touching the head tube lugs from wearing away the paint. I was thinking of using round bits of AL sheeting stuck on with 3M auto trim tape, comments ?
And in the best Antiques Road Show tradition, if I fix these conditions will the value plummet ?
